A big thank you to all of you who helped me with my computer problems over
the past two weeks. I replaced the power supply at CompUSA, and
everything at long last seems to be working!
The only interesting note is that I decided to buy a high-end surge
protector and it turns out that the wiring is too old in my building to
support the sure prrotector..... go figure. Still, I've been here for
three+ years now, so I guess that I shouldn't be too worried, since my old
surge protector still seems to be green-lighted.
