Thank you. :)
Dan was almost regretting his decision to make this be his last day this morning. He'd been sending updates to his boss and some co-workers with the subject heading, "Pregancy update - don't panic". He realized this morning that it would just have been so cool to send one out headed "Pregnancy update - PANIC". (Which is what he might do when it's time to head for the hospital.)
We each have a checklist of things to do when it's time. Mine are things like, call the person who's going to help out with Sammy when the time comes, grab this, grab that, grab that other thing (all downstairs). Dan's is send this e-mail, send that e-mail, make that phone call. (And I have a short list of people to call on the way to the hospital.)
So hopefully, nobody panics, right? :)
And the cell phone battery doesn't pick that moment to die.
And another hurricane does not decide to head for the Texas coast that day and knock out the power and dump rain all over the streets, etc. (I know you're inland, but so am I, and we get those kinds of problems when one decides to come ashore somewhere around Mobile or the Florida panhandle . . .)
And . . .
