Erik, it is NOT irrelevant. The contract is not agreed
to by sending e-mail; the contract is agreed to by
USAGE. You are using Brin-L resources, which have been
provided for free. 

You do not need to sign anything to agree to a
contract. Signing a document is only one form of
entering into a contract. There are many others.
