I didn't know that about the DNA.  Have to read that
sometime.

I believe I *did* say that his opinions were
controversial, and the article certainly made clear
that he wasn't a biologist -- I still thought it was
fun!  Perhaps I should have written what it made me
think of: a short story or article about how vampires
are the result of a viral infection...  :)
