An example of this is Zecharaih, the first part of which, at least, is
thought to have been written very close to the time it depicts by
Zecharaih. The second part was written a bit later by Zecharaih or his
disciples. It has been subjected to more redaction.

This brings up an interesting difference in scholarship. For the Old
Testiment, people accept a lot of editing as part of the cannon. With the
new Testiment, the editing tends to be reversed when it is possible to do
so. An example of this is the handling of Mark 16, 9-20.
