Growing up in the whitest state in the Union, it wasn't until I moved out
here to Seattle that I really learned to see the differences, not only in
the various Asian communities, but also the African and Indian
sub-Continent communities as well.
Granted, it takes experience to tell the difference, but it takes something
even more important: giving a shit.
What's really sad is that my wife gets this here in California.
