Folks,

In an off-list conversation, a correspondent identified himself as a joker, a trickster, a fool. Then, later today, I came across this:

Turns out that people would rather work with a friendly, but somewhat bumbling coworker than a competent jerk. I can attest to that, having been something of the former, working for someone who was decidedly the latter. I certainly preferred working with me to working with that person, I can assure you.
