If you post anything *new* to the list (and by "new," I mean anything that suggests that you aren't single-minded in your attitude toward religion), please say so in the subject line. I sure won't be expecting it. As I see it, any source of power can and will be abused by people. I don't think that evil done in the name of religion is any more or less offensive than evil done in the name of any other good. Shall we have a diatribe against health care because some doctors and nurses have poisoned their patients? Or because the pharmaceutical industry sells us drugs that are useless or harmful? Or the food industry because of fast food? Food is evil, it makes us fat and clogs our arteries? Anybody who has been on this list has gotten the message that you have a grudge against religion.
