Jeanne D'Arc discovered that the Cardinal developed this Op-Ed with the Discovery Institute - the Protestant Creationist unthink tank that is pushing Intelligent Design. One of the comments mentions an internal document that was leaked from the Discovery Institute that advocated using ID as a wedge issue and getting major religious groups to start attacking evolution in favor of ID.
