I've mentioned previously that colleagues with whom
I've discussed depression agreed that, anecdotally,
exercise seemed to help most people, but it took about
2 weeks of 45-60 minutes/day to affect mood. 
Certainly I think that would have to do with stress
reduction, but maybe it helps with neurogenesis as
well?
