There are various genealogies for Charlemagne, so her theoretical family tree goes back way, way farther. Back to Joseph of Arimethea (or however that's spelled), who some say was Jesus' cousin, which makes my wife (and a whole lot of other people) Jesus' cousin. Or something like that.
