The George Clooney movie THREE KINGS is supposed to be on TNT next Friday.

It's an excellent film in its own right - both dramatic and fun. It is also highly topical, since it portrays Iraq in 1991, when our leaders ignored the pleas of General Schwarzkopf and countless others, begging for just 12 more hours to rescue the people of southern Iraq, who were rebelling against Saddam at our request.

Instead, having rescued billionaire sheiks of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, we then left the poor people of Southern Iraq in the lurch, to be slaughtered by Saddam - suffering twelve more YEARS of hell at the hands of that maniac. We asked them to rise up against him, then helped HIM to put them down.

The stain upon our honor is one of the worst that our nation has ever endured -- a treacherous and shameful deed performed (at orders from Riyadh) by exactly the same list of names who are in charge right now (with the exception of a "W".)

This time around, Donald Rumsfeld predicted that our troops would be greeted with "flowers and kisses" upon entering Iraq! In science, such a blunderingly inaccurate prediction would reflect on ability. But in this case, it goes much farther... to utter shamelessness.

We had our chance for kisses and flowers. Watch the film and ask yourself how YOU'D feel toward America. The people of Iraq can understandably say "You took your #%#@&! time. Now go away."
