b) sounds like a good compromise..
That's what categorising is good for..
.. a central place for disc things (so that people
just need to know one web address/e-group to start
with), and then sub-categories for particular
interests/non-interests.
surfing v's body-boarding
snow skiing v's snow-boarding
wing chun v's tai chi
(seems this situation has been faced before)

There are a few solutions.. the right one being the
one that suits the majority. How does Britdisc apply
democracy? Casual or formal methods?
