The money from the tour goes towards the purchase of:
Cones
Water containers
Scoreboards
and their transport to and from all the tour tournaments.
It also covers the administrative costs of printing and sending out the
relevant
documentation relating to the tour.
Whats left over plus the other tournament taxes covers any other expenses
the
BUF runs up like all the phone calls sorting out stuff like European or
Worlds
participation both for clubs and the national teams, BUF membership of the
World Federation to allow our teams to participate in those events, 3rd
party
insurance etc. We also had to front the money for many of the participating
National teams last year, and covered some of the medical expenses. there
was
also a small amout used to help fund the junior team to participate in World
Nations last year.
There will be a financial report produced for the AGM, where I will also
attempt
to answer any questions on that report that are tabled as per other
questions
for such an event. I do not however have the time to continually update a
web
page every time I receive or write a cheque just so you can see it!
If you don't like it, find out how to call an EGM, get rid of me and find
someone else to do the job. The same goes for Ultimatum. Get someone to
write/produce/print/distribute it and we can all enjoy it. If we move to
individual membership and pay a bit more (oh god no not that) maybe we can
pay
someone to do this work, because believe it or not producing a magazine is
work!
