Just a comment on your rant, MB:

Don't you think that SOTG will be at a loss once players start getting paid? 
Money is by far (at least from my point of view) the strongest corruption 
agent in society.. it is very easy for players to make bad calls, contest, 
argue, etc. if both teams know that the winner of the match is up for a 
money prize.

Competition is good and healthy, but it's not the main reason why people 
play Ultimate - or any sport, for that matter.  Please raise your voice 
against this if I'm wrong, but I think everyone plays for fun first.

When players enter the pitch with this priority in mind, that's when they 
experience the sport at its prime.. real Ultimate.

PS: Cheers for Mohawks, for showing what Ultimate is all about at student 
nationals - never had I seen a team play Ultimate as they did. That's a real 
team...
