Make sure you get a number of opinions ... different players have different
style of play ... some rely on speed alone to outrun their opponents ...
others (like myself) prefer to fake and cut to outwit their opponents ...
different styles of play require different styles of cleat ... I personally
don't like the Gaia cleats as the cleats don't go far enough to the outsides
of the sole to allow a decent fake without risking a turned ankle ...

Try to borrow a pair before you buy ... just to try them out ... if you
can't do that ... just consider how you play ...

My opinion is that Gaia are good for going fast in a straight line ...

Best wishes ... Helen

I wear Gaia cleats and they are excellent with 2 caveats:

1. The leather stretches a LOT. Buy at LEAST 1 size smaller
than you think.

2. The insole moves a lot (possibly because my foot moves
because I did not follow the advice in point 1) but if you
add a sorbothane and glue it down, then you have possibly
the most comfortable ultimate shoe ever.

Also, you are supporting a good bunch of canadian boys.

Go on, you know it makes sense!

PS Indoor zone is the single most boring play in ultimate.
If you can't ban the whole concept of playing indoors, then
maybe just ban the zone.
