Various people have requested additional items for the BUF AGM. 

To clarify, we are only intending to deal with association matters at the AGM.

It is our intention to hold elections for the association board of directors soon 
after the AGM. This election will be the opportunity to raise items relating to next 
season.

One of the more fundamental changes we want to make is to move towards voting in the 
right *people* rather than voting on every *issue*. This means that directors will be 
elected on the basis of what they intend/promise to do in their term of office. 

I will circulate the proposed new constitution soon (when I've finished it!) but the 
plan is to have a board of around 12 directors. Important jobs like President, 
Director of Competitions, etc will be elected onto the board specifically but the 
other directors will essentially be 'without portfolio'. The board will appoint or 
employ people into other specific roles where these are not performed by directors 
themselves.
