Further to Ben's notice this morning, we need to point out that juniors do
not need to become members of UK Ultimate. The reasons for this were based
around the problems of storing sensitive information on minors, and the cost
to juniors. We need to be encouraging juniors and imposing such a cost on
them may lose us potential players, so juniors under 18 are exempt.

For UK Ultimate events like regional indoors, we are still going to have to
look at the roster problems. We really would not expect a TD to ask to see a
birth certificate or threaten to turn a junior away, but at the same time,
we would obviously be very disappointed if someone abused the spirit of the
game by either claming to be under 18 when they are not, or if a junior
tried to change teams between qualifiers and the finals.
