'VIRTUAL' AGM

This is a reminder of the 'Virtual' AGM, the aim of which is to give all
members an opportunity to raise any issues you feel should be brought to
the attention of the new Board. Please send all details of such issues
to [EMAIL PROTECTED] All issues received will be passed onto the
new Board either via email or at the first Board meeting.

Details of the organisation of the 2004 Board can be found at:
www.ukultimate.com/about/how.asp Comment and discussion is invited.

There are also two motions for approval. You can vote on these motions
using the ballot form for the Board elections:
www.ukultimate.com/elections/2004/

Motion 1: Changes to the UKUA Constitution:

The proposed new constitution is available at:
www.ukultimate.com/about/docs.asp

Please include any comments along with your ballot form.

Motion 2: Changes to Membership Types and Costs

Some of the changes are:

- Introduction of a temporary membership to allow visitors and
occasional players to compete in official UKUA events without paying
full membership.

- Clarification of the different benefits and restrictions of the
different types of membership

- Introduction of a small fee to the first year introduction membership.
This results from research showing that the majority of players who take
advantage of the 'free' introductory option do not then become full
members.

- Clarification that the free registration only membership does allow
players to take part in many of the official events.

- As the UKUA made a loss this year (the Annual reports will be
available soon) it has become necessary to raise the cost of full
membership slightly.

- Introduction of new membership options for our younger players (u16's
must register via a parent/guardian).

For full details visit:

www.ukultimate.com/about/docs.asp

It is hoped that these expanded options and the provision of online
payments will help to make the membership more flexible and easier for
everyone.

As these issues have a significant impact on the Ultimate you will be
playing over the next year please make sure you vote!
