may I ask how we are supposed to make a choice if there is no discussion
whatsoever on the list about the election?

1) It would be helpful to have the picture of the people running for
election on the website. I have probably met most of them, but I can't
associate names and faces. 

2) It would be nice that for each candidate there was at least one email
criticising why one should vote or not vote for him or her.

3) Could the candidates be more explicit about what they think is wrong
in the way UKUA is now and what they want to do to improve it? and, if
they are running for reelection, what have they achieved so far?

4) Why does the election takes place now? We are in the middle of the
winter season and lot of people are on holiday and can't check their
email regularly. Would not around September-October be a better time?
Between the end of the summer season and the start of the winter season.
