Hi Britdisc, In 8 days, the British Disc Golf Association present their most prestigious tournament of the year - the British Open Championships. This year's event is being held at Quarry Park Disc Golf course, Warwickshire. The course is owned and managed by British Frisbee legend Derek Robins. The Quarry Park Disc Golf Club is running the event and it is sponsored by Discology. This tournament is also a double celebration for the club as the course is celebrating it's 10th anniversary. The event runs from Friday 23 July to Sunday 25. The first round of the tournament starts Saturday morning with the finals being played on Sunday after lunch. There are still places remaining for players. If you can't manage to play, why not come along and watch the finals on Sunday? Players must register in advance via the tournament website. All players registering before Friday 16th July are guaranteed to receive a souvenir disc and tournament T-shirt (in their size!).
