For those of you that missed it, the weekend just gone, saw Loughborough host their yearly Beginners Tournament. As always the quality of play was exceptionally high and all the beginners improved their games greatly. The final standings and awards are:

The Final between ThunderCatch and Random Fling, finished 5 - 2 to ThunderCatch, with #16 of Thundercatch getting MVP for the final. As with all Beginner events the party was definitely up to standard, with people dressing up in all kinds of costumes. Congratulations to Random Fling for winning the 3 pint Challenge competition but for their general partiness Kings got the party award. Also special mention to the top three best dressed people at the party.
