As you have probably heard, there has been a project progressing this year to pull together an Ultimate History "coffee-table" book. It is the first book chronicling the complete history of the sport of Ultimate, from 1968 to the present, presented in a 160 page book with tons of photos, and including a DVD with never before seen Ultimate footage. The book is being published by Joe Seidler (a UPA board member) and edited by Adam Zagoria and Tony Leonardo. A lot of players are also participating in the project, such as TK, Stork Roddick, and me. The web site is at: http://www.ultimatehistory.com In addition to describing the history of the sport and showing it in photos, there will also be an extensive appendix with lists of US national and WFDF world champions, championship team rosters, etc. See an example of this at: http://www.ultimatehistory.com/book/rosters/index.html. The book is expected to be completed in early December, will be printed early next year, and shipped at the end of the first quarter. If you are interested in ordering copies of the book for yourself or other players in your country, or ordering multiple copies, I suggest you contact publisher Joe Seidler directly at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Orders received before December 31 will be made at a discounted price, and you may be able to work out a more efficient and less expensive shipping arrangement than placing an individual order.
