Well, these rules are open to debate. But I don't see the problem myself. It's not vastly different from arguing about how close you were to your man when you call pick. Or how fast is a fast count. And loads more examples... that's part of what spirit is for.

If it's disputed, and really can't be resolved amicably (pretty rare I'd have thought) then just middle it and play on. (i.e. compromise - don't play it where it went out, and don't brick it either.)

Sounds easy to me.

But I do very much like the idea of standing a tall man at the back of the end-zone. ;)
