Following some great news on the Junior front... This past Saturday also saw a Women's Skills Day held in London on Clapham Common. Over 100 women came out, primarily from student teams but we also had quite a few club players and 6-7 Junior women (youngest was 13, I think).
Despite a wide range of experience, the event was a raging success and I think everyone came away having learned something. Many thanks to Iceni and Bliss ladies for volunteering to lead the stations and also to Gemma, Uni Women's Coordinator, for doing a lot of the hard work behind the scenes.
