Dear all Results, debrief and lost property will follow.
2 players over the course of the weekend were seriously injured. One broke a collarbone and a second has a suspected broken leg (diagnosed by the physio but I have not heard from team to see if she was right). It I think underlines the importance of the TD having a look for the local A&E to the venue. We were able to spare a helper and a car for the first injury and able to provide directions for the second. With hindsight though clear printed instructions (several copies) would have been better so that teams could visit/pickup/take to the hospital easily.
Such severe injuries are thankfully rare but please future TDs ensure you have this information and preferably in an easy to pass on form so that little time is wasted saying left at the next roundabout.
My team and I send our best wishes to both players and hope that they recover quickly.
