speaking as someone who's pro mixed more so than womens i would like to add my
tuppence to the debate about which ulti season should come first.
i think that the momentum and level of intensity in mixed is still not what
it could be in this country whereas the open definitely packs a bit of clout on
the international scene and the women's is coming along awesomely. therefore
the mixed could probably benefit more from the influx of university students
keen to play.

ps. and whoever wrote something about their uni men not being able to play
open cause uni summer term had finished is boll**** in my opinion. they just
have to make a bit of extra effort rather than rolling out of bed in halls of
res and stumbling to the uni pitch. (or they could join another team who is
closer to their home address - yeah they wouldn't be playing with their uni
team but you can always learn stuff....)
