We have space for: Division A: 16 Teams Division B: 16 Teams Division C: 12 Teams Division Women: 16 Teams PLEASE NOTE (Esp lower ranked teams): Our carefully laid plans have been scuppered by the University. They have decided to schedule a cricket game on Sunday that will take place on four of our best pitches. Please believe us when we say we have kicked up as much fuss about this as we can, and have looked into many alternative solutions. But in the end, they own the pitches and can do whatever they like with them. As a result, this is our solution: We have hired 6 alternative pitches, located just next door (beyond the wire fence, and opposite the rugby club where the party is). These pitches are not of the same exceptional quality that the University pitches are, but they are certainly good enough for our purposes. So who gets to play on these pitches? Firstly, if it rains on Saturday, the cricket will be cancelled... so if you see us prancing about rattling sticks feel free to join in the rain dance. We will schedule the lower ranked teams to play on the prime pitches if the cricket is cancelled, or the alternative pitches if it is not. In the event of this happening, the University will refund us some money which we will pass back to the teams effected. This refund will be in the region of (probably a bit less) £10 per team per game. We are extremely annoyed with the University (not the ground staff, who are actually on our side) for putting us in this situation, and we apologise to any teams who are adversely effected by this.
