Britdisc and Others,

Sunday was a day to remember. Wet and really cold in the afternoon
emptied the beach and had players running for shelter and warmth. But
the evenings entertainment with DJ Kenee was mindblowing. So many
amazing outfits conforming and in another way not conforming to the
theme of senza fine. Good vs Evil, Angels and Devils, Marmite and
Flying Spaghetti Monster, whatever choice was made on the night the
effort to contribute to the atmosphere was unmatched.

Oh yeah...the UItimate was outstanding as well. Given the conditions
which transformed from mild inconvenience to outright painful the end
of day matches drew respect from the sparse crowd for the pure
foolishness/commitment of those involved. Not since one week ago at
Tour 0 have we experience such a level of absolutely unsavoury weather
while playing. Many teams just simply left, giving up final seedings
in favour of hotel warmth. Blockstack TV, being commitment to the
cause, were of course there, at least for the Huck and Sea vs Scandal
Semi final to film the highlights. Insulated by 3 days of drinking
and dancing, we were entertained by a performance as unique as a
Paganello semi final in a 5 degree rain storm. In an admission of
defeat, the management moved the 6pm games to early Monday morning.

BlockStack TV was also like to apologise for the highlights blackout
that occurred in the day 2 show. We're aware of the problem (cheers
to all those who emailed in) and have recently corrected the issue.
We can only assure you that it's worth a rewatch just for the
highlights. Day 3 is now online (with fully functioning highlight
reel) so stop what your doing and check that out now.

Tom and Steve
