Forwarded from ED: Dear European Ultimate players and potential tournament directors,
according to the 4 year championships cycle the European Ultimate Club Championships (EUCC) are due to take place in 2009 as a week long event. However, there is a conflict with the annual European Ultimate Championships Series (EUCS), which were started in 2006: - Does it make sense to have both events? - If yes, which event should confer the title of "European Ultimate Club Champion"? After long discussions within the Championships Series Committee (CSC, the steering group for EUCS) and the EFDF Board a decision was made: In 2009 there will be - a four day EUCC with Open, Women, Mixed and Master divisions (European club titles will only be awarded in the Mixed and Masters division) - a three day EUCF for Open and Women divisions (European club titles will be awarded in these division) For more information about the decision and especially for the call for bids, please download this PDF document: http://www.efdf.org/news/EUCC+EUCF2009-calls-for-bids-2.pdf Please pass this on to your fellow players, especially to potential tournament directors. All questions, remarks and preferrably bids should go to bids2009 (at) efdf.org Regards, Thomas Griesbaum EFDF President http://www.efdf.org/ __________________________________________________ BritDisc mailing list [email protected] http://www.fysh.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/britdisc Staying informed - http://www.ukultimate.com/staying-informed
