Hi everybody, Curve are currently recruiting for Mixed Tour 2009. We have a strong men's squad already, but could do with a few extra ladies, so if you think you might be interested then read on..
We are a friendly mixed team (I know everyone says that, but we really are FRIENDLY) based in North London. We practice in Clissold park - close to Manor House / Finsbury Park tube - http://tinyurl.com/cnh8qe. Having begun life many years ago as a loosely organised pick-up team, we have gone from strength to strength over the last few seasons - last year was our best ever, finishing 2nd in the London Summer League, and fighting out way up to 19th in Mixed Tour, from an initial seeding of 30th. This season we aim to improve on that, working our way into and up the top 16. As well as Curve's regular Sunday afternoon training, we have planned a structured series of weekend sessions, led by experienced coaches and players, specifically for the Mixed Tour squad, leading us up to the first event on the 4th/5th April.
