Question... Is the spirit of the game sheet balanced?
http://beachultimate.org/SOTG_v2008_1.pdf I would argue that some of the 7 areas overlap and others in my opinion are not weighted enough. Is it worth doing a survey of ultimate players to see if the areas are correctly balanced? I appreciate the simplicity of the form and the reasons for it's design...but if we are to publish these results surely it would make sense that they are proportionally accurate to the perceptions of the ultimate community. I'm not saying it's definitely wrong...but I know my opinion doesn't match and I'm curious to see what we all think. Also...Do people think the nature of the situation in the tournament affects the possibility of getting a certain score? Eg are extremely competitive games on average going to get a higher or lower scores than more subdued game? Peoples thoughts?
