I trust that as the UK ultimate association, the fact that the Scottish school holidays are different to the English ones would be taken into account, so the aim will be to try not to have any serious ultimate except between 21st July - 17th August?
I'm not sure about the school holidays in the rest of Europe, but I imagine they differ somewhat also, perhaps further cutting down the times available for the pan-european competition? I am actually more sympathetic than I sound, but think its unrealistic to expect school holidays to be a main driver for this. Of course, one could also argue that such a move discriminates against parents, who are under pressure to go on holiday during school holidays. Just my thoughts. Dave. Marrried to a teacher. Does that count?! __________________________________________________ BritDisc mailing list [email protected] http://www.fysh.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/britdisc Staying informed - http://www.ukultimate.com/staying-informed
