Greetings Britdisc,
Apologies to anyone not attending RUF & Tumble next weekend, but this doesn’t
relate to you.
For everyone who is I’d like to bring to their attention something we of Low %
Red will be doing to raise some cash for charity (most likely the Red Nose Day
fund.)
On Saturday afternoon you will have the opportunity to play that Ultimate video
game you’ve always wanted, only with full size players.
For the duration of our final pool game you will be able to pay to control our
players on the field using some or all of the following controls:
Offence:
Direction and speed of movement (left/right, Walk/Run),
When to pass to who to ("pass [throw x] player 2"),
What Throw (anything from backhand to spinal),
Jump/ Lay out.
Defence:
Direction and speed of movement (Run, Walk),
Bid/ Lay out.
Prices:
As it's all for charity prices are open to negotiation, but we'll have a rough
price list with us on the day. We're thinking around a quid for a full minutes
play but we'll work to what the market dictates.
At any one point there'll probably be three players available for control*. So
why not get together with your mates and try and see if you can beat our
opposition for us, using us. Nice people will try and make their player play
well and win. Bad people will have them pass to the opposition then lay out off
the pitch. We’ll be taking money from both kinds of people...
Throughout the weekend we'll be open to offers to cause other mayhem in return
for donations, be it have you dictate our throws to all singing goldie lookin'
chain for a point.So why not make us an offer and make your day a little more
Low %?

* We doubt we'll be doing all 5 due to a combination of available players and
the practicalities of having 5 conflicting controlling voices. If it turns out
to be easier that we thought then we'll definitely try to have all five though."
