Hi

As you may know, players need to be members of the UKU to play at certain
tournaments - and in particular at Mixed, Women, Open Tour and Nationals.
Furthermore, players are basically required to stay with the same team
across all of the events within the same division.

This year teams are required to identify the players that will be playing
for them. To do this for Mixed Tour, go to this "event" (which covers MT1,
MT2 and Mixed Nationals).

This page has instructions on how to "invite" your club members to the Mixed
Tour 2009, and what they (or the team manager) does to identify them as
being on your roster. Players might quite rightly be "registered" with more
than one club on the website. This mechanism allows them to identify which
of those clubs they will be playing for in Mixed Tour 2009. Its quite
straightforward.

If you are team manager and you are thinking that your team-mates won't
actually do all this then you can do it for them using the same system.

The alternative really is that we start to take team sheets on paper.
Hopefully this web-enabled approach is easier for most people. If you
prefer to do it all on paper, that is fine - just give me a shout and I'll
confirm the information that is required.

Si
