Incidentally, the team that dropped out earlier this week will NOT be
refunded their tournament fee, in accordance with UKU guidelines.
Instead we will be passing their fee on to charity.

We had aimed for a Thurs release with this schedule, but dropouts on
Monday and Tuesday left us with a couple of really nasty numbers to
deal with, and it took time to resolve a fair schedule for the
affected teams.
Everything has a knock-on effect with the schedule, and things keep
changing up until it is released, so an earlier release in this case
would've been impossible, or at least incorrect. Happy to go into
more detail on any of this with anyone interested.
We appreciate the need to get schedules out early, however until teams
either stop dropping out late, or we implement a system whereby
dropouts don't have an impact, then we have to keep adapting the
schedule to ensure it is correct for the format being played. Ideally
we want to be releasing the schedule 1 week before the tournament.

process can be improved and we are actively working on implementing
