Firstly, thank you all for coming - we really enjoyed it and we've had
loads of mainly positive feedback. Feel free to email me any
suggestions/complaints.
Secondly, I apologise; last week I sent an email out to each team rep
and brit disc but it got rejected from BD as spam, and I didn't realise.

SPIRIT
We are trialling a new spirit prize system which will be given out to
INDIVIDUALS over the weekend. Basically, if someone on another team
shows high spirit, you can nominate them and we will make sure they
get a prize and the public recognition they deserve! Keep an eye on
the spirit board to see if you have been nominated!
The reason for this is that we want to give out prizes, but the BULA
system takes too long to calculate in time for the end of the
tournament.
LOST PROPERTY
We have 5 bags of lost property from the rest of the season. Make sure
you claim any of your own items on Saturday, because on Sunday WE WILL
BE SELLING IT OFF AT £1 per ITEM!
The money will go to charity
The lost property won't go to a landfill
You'll get stuff for cheap.

The spirit medals worked pretty well really - a few people tried to
take advantage of it, but generally those nominated were really quite
touched. The spirit board generated a lot of interest, and not a
little banter about some of the people nominated.
We'll get the BULA system results published after the next rainy
weekend.

LOST PROPERTY FROM THE SEASON
We managed to sell quite a bit of stuff that had collected over the
season. We raised just over £40, which is going to http://www.wvpkenya.org.uk/
(This is the same charity that Laura James has been selling
delicious cakes in aid of over the last few years).
TEA LEAF (Clapham) was caught trying to steal one of those snazzy
light up discs from lost property. Nicking stuff from your peers in
the Ultimate community is one thing, but stealing toys from African
children with AIDS is pretty low.
LOST PROPERTY FROM NATIONALS
There was very little of value - however I have kept hold of a few
items, namely:
An ipod with "Emma is Beautiful" written on it (Emma, please send us a
photo of yourself)
A keyring with a picture of somebody's mum (?)
A blue first aid kit.
