Hong Kong need a couple more players for the Asian Beach Ultimate Championships in Borocay, Philippines. It's happening around Halloween, specifically 28-31 October. There's an official website and everything www.acbu2009.org. The official online poll says that we're 4th most likely to win the tournament too. If your parents are from Hong Kong or if you were born there, you're seemingly eligible for the team. You're also eligible if you're from Hong Kong or have lived there for 20 months or more. We don't know if we're a mixed or open team yet so get involved - whatever your gender - and we might find out. If you're interested get in touch and I'll forward your details to the man in charge. If you think going all that way for just the one tournament is not really worth the money there is also the Manila Spirits tournament which is the Asian qualifiers for World Clubs 2010 on 6th to 8th November. There may be a chance to play pickup on grass and even play for a team at Worlds though this still needs to be finalised by the powers that be.
