Sublimation is a process whereby ink is actually burned into the fibres of the garment and the design becomes part of the material, as opposed to the way ink is caked on top of the material in conventional silk screening. The fabric is then cut intobody, sleeve and collar panels that are sewn together to create a “full body” sublimated jersey. With sublimation, you can use any colour, gradient, font or effect that you can think of, design across seams, under arms, along waistbands... all while maintaining the wicking properties of your jersey as you go to work on the playing field.
