Flyght Club, Nottingham's open team, are running a series of one day indoor
tournaments during the winter.

There are 7 dates, with varied types of tournament:

10th Jan – Juniors 1
24th Jan – Developers
14th Feb – Juniors 2
21st Feb – Open 1
28th Feb – Mixed
14th Mar – Womens
28th Mar – Open 2

For the junior and open ones, we will give priority for the second event to
those unable to attend the first one, and vice versa.

The developers tournament is just like a beginners tournament, but without
the 6 month ‘beginners’ restriction. It is an event for teams who are still
taking their initial steps in the ultimate community, or those who need to
gain more experience. One 'experienced' player on the pitch at any one time,
just like beginners. We're not going to police it, but please be spirited
about this one, and don’t bring an experienced team, as you will not benefit
from playing the other teams there.

The cost of the event will be £60 for an 8 team tournament in which you will
get 6, 18 minute games. If we get enough interest to field 10 teams then
this will reduce to £50 for which you will get 5, 18 minute games. Do not
send any money yet, I will contact successful teams for payment at a later
date.

I know that there are clashes with a lot of other events (eg Winter League).
Unfortunately we weren’t able to avoid these, hopefully there should still
be enough interest. I'm also aware that there isn't much time until the
first event, please accept my apologies for that.
All of the events will run from 9am-5pm, at Bilborough sports centre, just a
few minutes from the M1 J25/26.

Further details will be going up here as they develop -

Each tournament may be run by a different member of Flyght Club, but for any
general queries, please contact me through the website or by
email/text/phone.

We look forward to seeing you there.
