In 2009 Leamington Lemmings had a hugely successful season competing in the
top 16 of Mixed tour and our Open team finishing 5th overall in B tour.
These achievements represent huge developments for a club that was competing
in only its 2nd Tour season.
We plan to build upon these successes in the upcoming 2010 season. Lemmings
plan to enter a 1st and 2nd team to both mixed and open tours (or more if
numbers permit) and a Lady Lemmings team will enter Women’s tour.

With this in mind the Leamington Lemmings are pleased to announce the dates
of our 2010 Weekend Tour practices. Anybody interested in playing with
Lemmings at Tour (and/or any other tournaments with us) should attend as
many of these practices as possible, it is imperative that everyone is
familiar with their team mates and our tactics. These sessions will factor
into our team selection criteria.

Practices will be run by Lemmings’ own core coaching team led by Simon
Worthington and Gavin Newman (our club captain and vice captain
respectively,) and include Michaela Meeraus and Naomi Brook, our Women's
Captains. This team will coach our tactics for the upcoming season.

Lemmings as a club, was founded on an ethos of having fun first, this
remains true today. We aim to be competitive whilst enjoying ourselves at
the same time, as such the club will be hosting socials on the weekends of
the practices (to encourage team bonding of course!) Floor space can be
found for those that require it.

Any future Lemmings are also encouraged to come along to our weekly monday
floodlit sessions and wednesday indoor sessions. More details on the website

We look forward to seeing you at our first practice on the 24th January!
Happy New Year from everyone at Leamington Lemmings,
James Selley
Leamington Lemmings Club President

PS. If for some reason you cannot make these dates, but would still like to
play for Lemmings at any of the Tours, please drop us an email to discuss
it.
