Hi ladies
At present there is a women's committee but it has been largely defunct for the
last few years. It was set up a good while ago (before I was playing anyway) in
order to bring about the creation of the women's tour. As this is now set up
and running strongly, the committee has not been so active.
As someone (Jo?) rightly said this is an exciting time for Ultimate as it
becomes more popular. The UKU Board of Directors is aware of this and there are
plans to change the structure of the committees to enable this growth to be
supported properly but obviously these things take time.
I am happy to take any ideas, comments etc at the moment and find out what
women Ultimate players would want from a women's committe or something of the
like. Equally if there's more pressing issues and changes wanted this season
let me know and I'll see what can be done.
