Hello The current Women's Committee has decided it would be good idea to refresh it's members to ensure there is a good mix of passionate people involved in directing Women's Ultimate for the next year or two.
There are several issues the Women's Committee is looking to address, this list is by no means exhaustive and if you have other ideas, then that is great: promoting the growth of Women's Ultimate in the UK, deciding on the purpose and format of Women's tournaments in the UK including the Tour system, how to support elite players etc etc. If you have ideas, are passionate about Women's Ultimate and want to get involved then please email a brief manifesto of what you would bring to the Committee and why you would like to be involved to me at [email protected] by 3rd September. Voting (if there is sufficient interest) will happen mid-September with the aim of the new Committee to be up and running by the end of September. Currently the Committee decide everything by email conversations so all the commitment you need is to check your emails on a regular basis. There may be options for phone conferences and a face to face meeting too. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to email me.
