Britdisc,

With less than a week to go until UKU Nationals 2010, we thought now would be a
good time to remind everyone that all the information you need to know about
the event can be found on the tournament website: http://www.ukunationals.org/

There are however a few things we would like to highlight:

1) Schedule, draws and seeding information can all be found in the Tournament
section of the website. Results will also be published throughout the weekend,
so you can keep up with what's going on even if you can't make it along.

2) The captains meeting for the women's division will be at 8:45am, the
captains meeting for the open division will be at 9:00am, and the draw for the
first round of the open division will take place at 9:15am.

3) The open semi-finals, open final and women's final will all be held on the
3G rubber crumb Gaia show-pitch. If you're aiming for the top of the
tournament, then don't forget to bring the appropriate footwear. These games
will also be streamed lived on the internet.

4) Menus, prices and serving times for the food available at the venue can all
be found on the Catering page of the website. As a result of the food survey we
have persuaded the venue to lower prices and tailor the food on offer to what
players say they want, but the venue will not support this if players bring
their own food onto site. If we are going to get the cooperation of venues to
provide the food options we want then we have to do our bit too. We therefore
ask players respect this request. Snack bars and such like in your kit bag are
not going to be a problem, but takeaways or picnics will get noticed by the
venue and give them a reason to put prices up in future.

5) Camping passes will need to be purchased from the pavilion bar on Friday
night or the snack bar during the day on Saturday. Any tents found without a
clearly displayed pass on Saturday evening or Sunday morning may be removed by
the venue. BBQs, fires and glass are not allowed in the camping area under any
circumstances.

6) For the rest of the week and throughout the weekend, we'll be updating our
Facebook and Twitter pages. Join in on the conversation, tell us what you
think, and support your team by commenting on the posts or using the
#ukunationals hash tag:
