Hi Folks,

I had some inquiries about the format I was planning to run Iron Five as
this year and some of the long running teams expressed disappointment that I
was planning to change the format to a divisional system. So I ran a survey
of the teams who had already registered and made a decision based on that
last Friday.

The results of the poll "Do you want a 32 teams tournament or 3 divisions?"
coming out in favour of a single 32 team division as it has been in the past
I will now run Iron Five as a 32 team open event this year. There is a
trade off to be made. Rising costs were going to be off-set against 4 more
teams that could be accommodated in the 3 division system and this equates
to about £15 per team when I cut it back. I can't afford to absorbe that
kind of cost and soI have to raise the price of entry by £10 per team. The
people I asked said they were willing to pay an additional 1 or 2 pounds
each and so the entry cost has been raised to £135 per team.

So if you are still to register a team please go to the website and fill in
the form at http://www.lion44.co.uk/content/iron-five-2010-registration

Registration will close on Monday 30th August. All the teams who have
registered will soon be displayed on the website & offeres of a place will
be given out on 1st September. Teams not offered a place will be held in
reserve and contacted in a pre-determined order offering places not taken up
in the first round of offers.

Love the indoors,

Scraggy
