The UKU and the Great Britain Mixed Coaching Team are now inviting
applications from players to try out for the Mixed Squad attending the 2011
European Championships and the 2012 World Championships.

If you are a skilled player willing to commit heavily both in time and
finance and interested in playing for Great Britain Mixed then please read
on as we'd love to hear from you.

We will be running the first trials session on the 9/10th October (further
details will be sent out on invitation) and we want to hear from anyone who
would be interested in trying out for the squad, whether you can attend the
session or not.

Selection will be split into three stages:

Stage 1 - Initial selection by application.

This will be based on what's on the application as well as prior knowledge
by the coaching team and discussions with captains and coaches. Invites will
be sent out for the trial session ready for the 9/10th so please keep that
weekend free.

Stage 2 - Trials.

Players are to be assessed over various dates where applicable. Invites will
be sent out to join the training squad with the first session likely to take
place in early December.

Stage 3 - Squad.

The training squad will work together until a final cut is made and the
final team is selected by the coaching team.

The application form, as well as further information, can be found and
downloaded from the UKU website:

Please fill in the form and email back to [email protected] by the 24th
of September (the earlier the better please). We will aim to inform
everybody either way by the 1st of October ready for trials.

If anyone has any further questions then please feel free to email
[email protected].
