Dear All, The British junior coaches are leading an initiative to help support and increase the participation of junior ultimate in the UK.
We are hosting a number of events across the country that will be open to all players aged 18 or under. Whether beginner or experienced, *all* are welcome. Each event will aim to: 1. Give young players access to GB standard coaching 2. Give youth coaches experience of GB standard drills currently being used to train British players. 3. Give young players the chance to play against and with players from other clubs 4. Give the British coaches more visibility of young talent across the country. Each session will be roughly 3 hours long and will involve a nominal charge to cover running costs of the event. The first two events that we will be running are: *- University Sports Centre, St Andrews - 16th October* * * *- Surrey Sports Park, Guildford - 24th Octobe*r *To Attend* If you / your club / your school would like to attend either of these events, please contact Jon Pugh to register your interest: *[email protected]* *To Host an Event* If you would like to host an event in your local area, please get in touch with Jon Pugh: *[email protected]* * * * We could help you run an Ultimate taster session at your school so all your classmates can have a go at the sport you're always banging on about! * We could help you learn some new drills and practices for you to pass onto the team you coach. * This could be a way to get your little sister or brother that you taught to throw a sidearm into the sport. * You could run a joint session with a nearby school and start a derby rivalry to rival Everton vs Liverpool! We're here to help you get Ultimate off the ground in your area.
