Hi all,
This year, East Midlands Open (EMO) will be holding trials for next season's
squad places.
Trials will take place in Victoria Park, Leicester (LE2 1EG) on Sunday 24
October 2010, from 10am to 1pm. We shall meet on the Lancaster Road side of
the park, behind the large arch War Memorial.
Trials won't be too formal and are open to anyone interested in training and
playing with EMO next season. Your playing experience is not important. Among
other things, EMO are looking for any of the following: potential, ability,
enthusiasm, work rate. Commitment to training and attendance is very important.
There are plenty of squad places, with the strong possibility of a second team
again next season.
EMO is an established Tour A club with numerous Tour top 6 finishes over the
last few seasons, the team also played in XEUCF 2009 and Worlds 2010. We
intend to push on and improve on this next season.
Training will take place on Tuesday evenings in Leicester with weekend
trainings approximately once a month somewhere in the Midlands.
