Many thanks for the raft of questions that have followed the announcement of
the dates for Winter League 2010-2011.
Further information will be forthcoming on:
- costs and entry procedures;
- gender split for Mixed division;
- what's happening with the Women's division (though your Club Captain
should be able to give you a preview); and other useful information
This ought to be quite soon, I just can't promise you a target date, right
now! For the time being, we wanted to raise awareness that initial planning
is complete, and the momentum is building.
We're also aware that several of the events clash with various other events
already in the UKU Calendar, and we've tried to set up the clashes so that
they're not too disruptive (e.g. Mixed LWL on Open Indoor weekends, and
vice-versa). We're also reasonably sure that other tournaments may be also
be announced, causing further clashes. We're leaving it to you to make the
decisions as to which you'd prefer to do :o)
