Hi everyone!
There are 9 days left to register for the 2010 edition of the Martini Cup in
Groningen, and since we are sure you don't want to miss out: go over to our
website and register!!!
So far we have teams from Germany, Denmark, Latvia, Austria, the UK and the
Netherlands, but there is still room to add yourself and your team to the
international melting pot.WHERE AND WHEN:The tournament will be played on the
18th and 19th of December 2010 and will be held in Leek near Groningen in the
north of The Netherlands. The sports centre where the tournament will take
place be has 4 full sized indoor pitches. Playing, eating, partying and
sleeping are all in this sports centre.WHAT:Our aim is to have a high level
indoor tournament with an OPEN, WOMEN'S and MIXED division. There will be
enough playing time for each team, and a good party of course. The exact format
will depend on the number of teams attending. We can accommodate a maximum of
40 teams. We are aiming for 16 open teams, 8 women and 8 mixed teams. The size
of a division can change depending on the amount of interest for that
division. The Mixed Division will be played really mixed. The team receiving the
pull will decide if that point is played with 3 men and 2 women or 2 men and 3
women.REGISTRATION:Registration will be open from September 25th till November
1st. November 10th the organization will select the teams participating.Since
we hoping to make this a high level tournament again, national champions indoor
and/or outdoor will have a bigger chance of getting selected. You can register
